Easy Ways to Reduce Your Food Waste:

  1. Be realistic when grocery shopping, and don't buy more ingredients than you're likely to cook. 
  2. Grocery shop often and buy less. 
  3. Make a shopping list and stick to it. 
  4. Don't be afraid to buy less attractive (but still fresh!) produce. 
  5. If you only need a small amount of produce for a recipe, shop the salad bar (or buy frozen veggies) instead. 
  6. Follow expiration dates marked as "use by" or "sell by" as a general guide, not a hard and fast rule. 
  7. Try a food waste audit for 2 weeks, marking down what you tend to toss out. 
  8. Get creative with leftovers and buy ingredients that work for multiple meals
  9. SO STOP WASTING FOOD.
