NATIONALISM- the deadliest concept in the history of mankind

In the previous and current century, what is the most important theory driving the whole world?
yes, it is nationalism. In the name of nationalism, hundreds of small and big war happened in the history of mankind which took millions of lives. In my view, it is the deadliest concept in the history of mankind. Trillions of dollars every nation is spending on the military to maintain sovereignty, in the name of nationalism.

 what is nationalism:
Identification with one's own nation and support for its interests, especially to the exclusion or detriment of the interests of other nations.
Nationalism is an ideology and movement that promotes the interests of a particular nation especially with the aim of gaining and maintaining the nation's sovereignty (self-governance) over its homeland. Nationalism holds that each nation should govern itself, free from outside interference (self-determination), that a nation is a natural and ideal basis for a polity, and that the nation is the only rightful source of political power (popular sovereignty). It further aims to build and maintain a single national identity—based on shared social characteristics such as culture, language, religion, politics, and belief in a shared singular history and to promote national unity or solidarity. Nationalism, therefore, seeks to preserve and foster a nation's traditional culture, and cultural revivals have been associated with nationalist movements. It also encourages pride in national achievements and is closely linked to patriotism. (source-Wikipedia)

 There are different types of nationalism, but whatever the types, the goal is the same. Europe shows some promise to cure nationalism by creating EU, but Brexit challenged its success. other continents are still far away from a cure.
GOD DID NOT MAKE BORDERS, IT'S THE PEOPLE WHO MADE BORDERS.
  In my view, human rights, justice( rule of law )and a job with reasonable payment are far more important than nationalism. It is draining huge resources of the world and most of the world citizen is suffering for it.
