Don't always be soft and kind.

 


Always being compassionate towards everyone is one of the most unhelpful things we teach to our children.

Yes, being kind should be the first and second option. But not the third. If you repeatedly allow badly socialized people to bully you, they will tear you apart and leave you broken. Sometimes we need to stand on our own feet. We need to be assertive with a few sons of a bitch we meet & give them what they deserve. Don't confuse harmlessness with morality. You are harmless because you are just not capable enough to protest. You are shy and a coward. That's not helpful for you. Don't always be soft and kind. Don't build the habit of being weak and miserable and allow a lot of people to bully you constantly. Be kind to most of the people you meet in life but also have the guts to f*k a few of them if needed.
