Sadaqah Jariya means having a belief in continuous charity by the mode of good deeds and action. it helps in benefiting the life of the individual and society. According to Islam, it is a way by which one can get benefit even after death. According to various preaching in Islam and their followers, when a man dies, his acts come to an end but there are three recurring charities or knowledge spreading that one must do. If one spends time in doing charity then all the good deeds are bestowed upon him or her. Therefore before one’s death, one should try to do Islamic charities. Below are some of the good actions and rewarding deeds that one should do in order to please Allah or God.
1. One must plan to donate or participate actively in building a Mosque.
2. Donate or help in building an Orphanage.
3. Sponsorship for an Orphan is also given due importance in Islam. One should also invest his/her time in full or part-time sponsoring for an Orphan. It is a great way for continuous charity in Islam
4. Another important thing that can be done is teaching someone how to recite the Quran. It is known in Islam that if a student teaches Quran to another person then it helps get Hasanat from the Quran recitation. This way a person is blessed even after his death till the end of the world.
5. Another way to receive Hasanat is by distributing copies of the Holy Quran to other people even after your death.
6. Help provide a donation to building a school. When a person is donating to school then the students studying in that school receive the knowledge and this way a person can get Hasanat and it can also be considered as an Islamic Charity. The same way one can even consider donating to help to build Islamic College in your city or state.
7. Giving away materials related to Islamic reading is also considered as a great way to charity in Islam.
8. Teach someone how to remember Allah and recite his preaching. It is a great way to gain Hasanat and get the required preaching.
9. Sharing materials related to Quran or Dua online is yet another way to get Hasanat and get blessed.
10. Another way of doing charity in Islam is by donating wheelchair to the Hospital and it can be used by sick people, which is charitable work. Each time a person uses that wheelchair then you will gain Hasanat.
11. Help a child to obtain education by contributing to improving his school life is great charity work.
12. You can even plan to donate or build a Hospital or social centre. Another way to do it by donating to dig water tanks or wells which can be used by people in the area.
13. The plantation is yet another way to do charity work in Islam. Plants not only give oxygen but also used by birds and animals to get a shade or eat under it.
